Life has been so unpredictable for many. Uncertain of the future, living in a Pandemic that had only been spoken of from the bible. The reality of life has impacted us all in one way or another. Whether it be sickness, job loss, Divorce, and for the majority financial strain and hardship hitting some to the point of no recovery in which is why I share my story. In 2013 I was blessed to become a homeowner. That home was my pride and Joy! I saved and saved, worked on my credit to get a MORTGAGE loan. For me that’s huge! Nobody in my immediate family has ever owned a home. That home became the security for my kids and I, and in the long run it was one of my biggest assets, is what I thought! The foundation of many lessons and memories for them and I. March 2020 became a turning point for many, me included. COVID happened and nothing was certain. Making the decision to sell my home for the immediate need for money was the only option. It became a rental in 2017 when my boys moved out. The up keep and management of it became too overwhelming in this time of chaos. I decided to sell in which my team and I got my home sold in less than ten days! The roof, appliances and AC all needed to be replaced and in its current condition I knew that I would have to put money in to make it conventional financing ready for an end buyer, money out of pocket from me was a no-go. My business partner had a buyer in mind and their offer surpassed the previous offer I received from OFFERPAD in which they wanted me to pay them at closing to sell my own house….The beauty in the outcome is another family is enjoying this beautiful updated home making many memories.
